Synopsis

Bloom’s Taxonomy of Learning Domains was created in order to promote higher forms of thinking in education. Bloom’s Taxonomy is not just for elementary school teachers. The three domains (cognitive, affective, psychomotor) of the taxonomy apply to adult education as well. In this manual, we will pay attention to the cognitive domain. This is the domain of knowledge and intellect, and it is the main focus of most educators. Educators will be able to ultimately to provide adequate feedback for their students as well as design performance tasks to suit their needs.
